CRANSTON, R.I. (AP) – Cranston police have identified a 40-year-old local man as their suspect in the shooting of his wife and another man in the parking lot of a local pizza shop.
Police say Thomas Alejo shot and wounded both victims Wednesday evening in the lot outside the Pizza Fair restaurant in Galen Plaza on Park Avenue.
Both victims were conscious when they were taken to Rhode Island Hospital at about 6 p.m. with what police described as non-life threatening injuries.
Police Col. Marco Palombo says Alejo fled in a black pickup truck, and is considered armed and dangerous.
