Lucas Vorsteveld pled no contest to trespassing charges in Wakefield District Court Friday. Vorsteveld, 22, was arrested earlier this month for trespassing near a Watch Hill mansion recently purchased by pop star Taylor Swift.

According to reports, Vorsteveld attempted to swim up to the $17 million mansion in Westerly, but authorities say he was apprehended on a nearby private drive.

Friday, the judge informed Vorsteveld that the misdemeanor charge would be filed and dismissed after a year if Vorsteveld did not trespass again.

Vorsteveld did not respond when asked outside of court if he would apologize to Taylor Swift.
