DRIVE IN: The Rustic Drive-In is open again for the season, and before it gets too hot and humid, head there to watch one of the latest feature films. Did you know there areactually three Drive-Ins in Rhode Island? There’s one in Middletown, another in Smithfield, and a third in South Kingstown. $25 for a car load.

GET YOUR FIBER: The Rhode Island Sheep and Fiber Festival is this Saturday at Bristol’s Coggshell Farm Museum. You can meet with other “fiber enthusiasts” as you peruse textiles, supplies and crafts. You can also watch the shearing of a sheep or try your hand at milking a cow.
PAWSOX: The Paw Sox are home all weekend at McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket. Catch an evening game tonight or tomorrow or a sunny Sunday afternoon game. Tickets are $8 for adults, and $5 for children and seniors. Or you can get box seat for $12. Click here for info.
COMEDY: Doug Benson, a stand-up comedian who’s appeared on Comedy Central and the TV show “Best Week Ever” will perform at Fete in Olneyville on Saturday at 9 p.m. Down at Foxwoods, George Lopez will perform at the MGM Grand Theater tonight, Friday at 9 p.m. If you’re in the mood for something more magical, check out comedy and magic duo Penn and Teller also at the MGM Grand Theater on Saturday night at 8 p.m.
THEATER: The Gamm Theatre continues their dark comedy, “The Beauty Queen of Leenane.” The performances are superb and the story is enthralling, but be warned: this play is not for children or squeamish adults. Over at Trinity Rep, two “twin” plays, “House” and “Garden” open this month. “House” kicks off this weekend, but it’ll be another week until “Garden” opens. The plays are separate, the theaters are separate, but the casts are the same. How will they do it? You’ll have to wait and see.
The Off-Broadway smash “Stomp” comes to the Providence Performing Arts Center this weekend, for three performances on Friday and Saturday. Watch (and listen) as dancers use wooden poles, brooms and garbage cans to make percussive, rhythmic music. Click here for tickets.
