Providence College Friars forward Ladontae Henton was arrested on assault and battery charges last week.
According to a police report obtained by WPRO’s Tara Granahan, Henton was arrested on April 26 by Providence Police following a fight with his ex-girlfriend in her dorm room on PC’s campus.
Kristin Smith told police that while they were arguing, the 21-year-old Henton threw her to the ground, dragged her and then threw her against a floor. She also told police that he broke her cell phone and threatened to throw her down the stairs when she fled.
Police are charging him with domestic simple assault and battery, as well as domestic vandalism and malicious injury to property.
