SMITHFIELD, R.I. (AP) – Bryant University is holding a one-mile run to express support of those affected by the bombing at the Boston Marathon.
Tuesday's run is being called the "Run as One."
The school says a student, Ashley Cardona, suggested the run as a way for the university to show support for the runners and families affected.
The community plans a minute of silence at 2:50 p.m., which will immediately be followed by the run.
Runners and walkers are being invited to attend.
