An arrest has been made in a weekend shooting in Woonsocket.
Christian Rosado, 25, of Worcester, MA has been charged with assault with intent to commit murder, assault with intent to commit felony, and firing in a compact area. Rosado will be arraigned in District Court Monday.
On March 30, the Woonsocket Police Department responded to the area of the Fairmount St. Bridge for reports of shots fired and a male lying in the roadway. The victim had been shot four times. He was transported to Rhode Island Hospital by rescue. Currently the victim is listed in stable condition at Rhode Island Hospital.
