Woonsocket Police are searching for one man after he shot at another man at a car wash.

According to police, on Sunday afternoon around 3:30, three men got into an argument at Executive Car Wash on Privilege Street. After the disagreement, James Lambert, Christopher Lambert and 21-year-old Anthony LaCoste got into their three separate cars and proceeded to leave the car wash.

At this time, Officials say LaCoste took out a handgun and started to shoot at James Lambert’s vehicle while driving on Pond Street. This caused Lambert to strike a telephone pole.

Christopher Lambert chased after LaCoste in his vehicle, which then lead to a car accident between both parties. After the accident LaCoste exited his vehicle and ran off.

“They know each other from the past but we’re not sure exactly how but we do know there is a history of some tension between the three,” says Woonsocket Police Detective Jamie Paone.

Police say no one was injured in the incident. Woonsocket Police have obtained an arrest warrant for LaCoste for multiple felony charges. Police are asking the public to call and report it if he is seen. Call 401-766-1212 or their anonymous tip line at 401-769-4444.
