Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer has branched out into the coffee shop business, opening his “Rockin’ & Roastin’ Cafe”.

“God, it feels so good, man. I don’t even know what to say,” Kramer told reporters after cutting the ribbon to open the shop at the intersection of Routes 1 and 1A in North Attleboro. He called the opening a “dream come true”.

“This dream came from my wife and I walking down the street … in Italy, and me saying, “You know, I can’t get a good cup of coffee anywhere, what is the story here?”. And, my wife Linda said, “Well, why don’t you do something about it?”. To make a long story short, here’s what I did.”

Several hundred fans filled the shop and the patio for the brief ceremony.

“We have the Dunkin’ Donuts, they have Honey Dew, which are both fine, but this is just a little more intimate, a little different,” said Corin Caliendo of neighboring Cumberland, Rhode Island.

Amid rumors of a possible Aerosmith breakup, Kramer said it wasn’t so.

“We’re going to South America in October, and then we’ll be back for a few months off and then we’re going out on a world tour.” He said the band will “never” quit.

“There’s no need. Everybody was talking about a farewell tour. There’s no reason to do a farewell tour. Aerosmith is here to stay.”
